Privacy
CueLive stores the minimum needed to run clubs, matches, devices, and optional streams. This notice explains what we collect, why, and how to ask us about it.
1. Who we are
CueLive provides live scoreboards and related software for pool clubs and touring players. For privacy questions, email hello@cuelive.com.
2. What we collect
Account
Email, password (stored by our auth provider, not as plain text we can read), display name, and membership role (owner, admin, staff).
Club and tables
Club name, slug, city, country, description, logo, website and Instagram if you add them, table names and numbers, license status, and settings such as default race and stream quality.
Devices
Pairing codes, device name, app version, last seen time, and which table a tablet is bound to.
Matches and players
Player names and optional country, formats, scores, timestamps, table, and whether a match was saved or closed without saving. Public pages show this when you play.
YouTube
If you connect a channel: tokens needed to start a broadcast, channel name, and which live table uses which slot. Camera video is sent to YouTube, not stored as a CueLive video file.
Waiter calls
Which table called, and when staff acknowledged.
Technical
Session cookies, IP and browser data in ordinary server logs for security and debugging, for a short time.
3. Why we use it
To run the product you asked for: sign-in, licenses, pairing, live scores, public pages, overlays, waiter banners, and optional YouTube. We do not sell your contact list. We do not use match data to advertise to players on other sites.
4. Who else sees it
- The public, for names and scores you publish by playing.
- Your club members, in the workspace.
- Infrastructure we use to host CueLive (for example the database and auth provider).
- YouTube, if you connect a channel and start a live.
- A payment processor, when card checkout is turned on.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
Account and club data last while the account or club exists. Match history stays as the public archive of the room unless you delete matches you are allowed to delete. Server logs are rotated. YouTube tokens last until you disconnect the channel. You can ask us to delete an account; we will keep what the law says we must (for example invoices, if any).
6. Your choices
You can update club profile and members in the workspace. You can unpair tablets and disconnect YouTube. Email us to ask for a copy of your account data, a correction, or deletion. If you are in the EU/EEA/UK, you may also complain to a data protection authority. We will answer as the law requires.
7. Children
CueLive is for clubs and adult operators. Do not create an operator account for a child. If a junior player’s name appears on a public scoreboard, the club is responsible for having the right to show that name.
8. Transfers and security
We use reputable cloud hosts. Data may be processed outside Albania. We use encryption in transit, access control, and hashed credentials via our auth provider. No method is perfect — keep your password and pairing codes private.
9. Cookies
See Cookies for the short list of cookies we use.
10. Changes
We will update this page when the product or the law requires it. The date at the top will change.
