How CueLive works
CueLive is the live layer of a pool club: a paired Android tablet runs the scoreboard, and the same score appears on your public pages, overlay, and YouTube — without a separate broadcast desk.
Pair the tablet
A six-digit code binds one tablet to one table. The Android app cannot unpair itself — the club workspace does.
Start and share
Start the match on the tablet. Scores go live immediately. Camera + YouTube is optional.
One CueLive seat per physical table
A club plan is priced per table. Name the tables when you activate. Only licensed, enabled tables can start a new LIVE match. History already played stays on the public page even if a plan later expires.
- Club seats cover that table. Regulars and guests do not buy CueLive to play there.
- A player plan is only for someone running their own personal table on the road.
- Plans activate in CueLive today. Card checkout through Paddle is next — until then the product unlocks on the same seats you will pay for.
Owners, admins, and staff
The club owner invites members by email. Admins manage the room. Staff operate matches, devices, and waiter calls. Staff cannot disconnect YouTube or change billing.
- Sign in on the web with email and password.
- The public club page is separate from the workspace. Anyone can watch; only members can score and pair tablets.
Mount one tablet per table
From Devices, generate a six-digit code for a free table. Enter only that code on the tablet. The device stays bound until a club member unpairs it in the workspace. End a live match before you re-pair or unpair that table.
- Keep the tablet on club Wi-Fi. Scores talk to CueLive in the cloud.
- For YouTube, 8 GB RAM (or more) is the practical floor so encode and score stay smooth.
- Download the CueLive Tablet APK from the Devices page or from What you need.
Start from the tablet — or from the dashboard
On the tablet: pick format (singles, teams, or three sides), game (8-Ball, 9-Ball, 10-Ball), race, and players. Press Play. The public match page opens the same score.
From the club workspace you can also start a match on a free paired table. The tablet on that light opens the live scoreboard automatically.
- Closed without saving: the live game is discarded and does not appear as a finished result.
- Save & close writes the result to club history and the public archive.
Tablet on the light, phone in the pocket
Large +/− on the tablet is the main scoreboard. Logged-in staff can open Phone remote and add or subtract points from a phone while the tablet stays mounted.
- Pause, timeout, and shot clock stay on the tablet. The remote does not pause the rack.
- Score updates are revision-checked so two devices do not silently overwrite each other.
What people see without an account
Live board, club lounge with a table map, match pages, and player records built from matches you already play. Copy the match link. If YouTube is on, the same page can embed or open the stream.
Optional camera, automatic slots
Connect one or more YouTube channels in the workspace. Each channel can carry a limited number of live tables at once. CueLive assigns the next free slot. Video goes to YouTube — CueLive does not keep a separate video archive.
- Consent for YouTube Live is accepted on the tablet before a broadcast starts.
- You must have the right to show whatever the camera sees.
- Overlay carries names, score, and race on the stream.
- No camera still gives a full live scoreboard and public page.
A table can call the floor
From the tablet, a table can call a waiter. The workspace banners staff until someone taps OK. The call is for the room, not for scoring.
History stays. New live stays off.
When a license is inactive, finished results and the public archive are not deleted. New LIVE matches stay off until a plan is active again. Legacy clubs keep their existing tables until they pick a CueLive plan to add more seats.
